I've raised £400 to be split 50-50 with our new Caribbean Culture Society at the University of Warwick and our partner charity Friends of the Caribbean

We are a group of passionate young students from the University of Warwick and we have founded the University's first Caribbean Culture Society. We aim to bring the food, music, history and vibrant culture of our islands to the University of Warwick and the local area through social events, educational evenings and mentoring opportunities.
Our partner charity Friends of the Caribbean (FOTC) is a UK based charity that promotes cultural, educational, health and economic activities in the UK and the Caribbean. Recent projects include launching a Sickle Cell support group in the UK, providing financial assistance to communities in Jamaica and assisting disaster relief in Haiti.
We are raising funds to support FOTC in their brilliant ongoing projects. Jointly, as a CCS we aim to raise enough money to establish a mentoring programme for school children of Caribbean heritage in the Midlands area and build collaborative educational and careers events.
