We have been supporting families through the recent droughts in Somalia. The rains came but families in the rural areas have had their livestock severely depleted by the droughts and the likely hood that they will recover is minimal that's why we came up with a new initiative to create sustainable jobs and means of income for members of these families and try to give them a chance to move away from reliance on livestock.

The training & education centre will provide children with basic education and adults with vocational skills which will help them get jobs in the big cities and support their families.
