Story

Crouch End Cat Appreciation Society (CECAS) – Help Us Care for Our Cats!

We’ve helped over 300 cats in the last 18 months by getting them either neutered, rescued then neutered, and helping to treat dumped and stray cats get medical treatment and re-homed or long-term fostered.

However, vet care is expensive, and we still have many outstanding bills.

We currently have several cats in long-term foster care, each with their own ongoing medical needs:

• Cynthia, a forever foster

• Jemima, a forever foster needing blood tests as her age is catching up with her.

• Geppetto, a forever foster who needs an exploratory ear procedure on his damaged ear.

• Frankie, a forever foster needing dental care.

• Bert, a forever foster needing dental care.

• Michael, who has required three dentals, blood tests, and ear exploration.

We also celebrate success stories like Ruppee & Izzy, examples of cats we’ve rescued and re-homed who are now living their best lives.

Our work is only possible thanks to the incredible support of the public. Your generosity has already helped cats like Toulouse, a profoundly deaf stray who needed an eye removed. We fought to save his other ulcerated eye, and now he thrives in his forever home—a success story that wouldn’t have been possible without you.

We’ll continue to share updates on the cats needing ongoing and future vet care, along with bills for full transparency. This fundraiser is bigger than usual due to the growing number of cats in our care, but every pound and every share makes a difference.

Please donate if you can, and if you can’t, sharing this page is just as valuable! Spreading the word beyond our group could change lives.

A final note: Please spay and neuter your pets. Let’s work together to prevent more cats from ending up in crisis.

With gratitude,

Terri and the CECAS team
