Story
Cecil has always been passionate about sport, with rugby being particularly important.
From playing as a boy in first class teams such as Bristol, Neath and Bridgend to later moving to Glynneath rugby club in the 1950s to hang up his boots and become an avid fan and sponsor.
He has followed his teams around the world rarely missing a Wales or Lions game, but he has shown the most support to his local club, Glynneath, whom he has sponsored for many years.
Cec’ enthusiasm and passion for rugby in Wales been passed on to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren (even those who are part English).
Those who have had the pleasure to have known Cec, will know of his, and his late wife Bamma’s extreme generosity. Together they have supported many causes and helped a lot of people along the way.
On his passing he would like nothing more than to give back to the sport that has provided him with so many happy memories.
If you would like to donate in his memory, we would greatly appreciate a contribution towards Glynneath rugby club, a cause that was very close to his heart.
