Every year the children's ministry arm of our church runs a 4 week summer holiday club for children in our church and the local community. This club gives parents a safe place to leave their child during the summer holidays so that they can get to work.

The club charges a minimal weekly fee which barely covers the cost of activities that are planned for the children each week.

The club is run by voluntary nonpaid children's ministry workers, parents and young adults that have grown through the church and the club, who take time out of work to be able to help the club function.

Every time we go on big days out we pay so much for transportation and I feel that if we could provide our own transportation then the money saved can be used to provide the children with more activities that they can thoroughly enjoy.

I have had a passion for working with children since I was a child myself and have not lost that passion, nearly 23 years later. I would really like to be able to give the club something that will keep giving year in year out.
