I've raised £2000 to cover the daily running costs of Cedars Nature Centre during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Cedars Nature Centre is an award winning small community zoo based in the historic Cedars Park, in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. On 22nd March 2020, Cedars Nature Centre had to close its doors due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Although our doors are closed our running costs are still the same and as we are entirely self funded we currently have no income. Our keepers are still working hard, looking after the animals and making sure their welfare is kept to a high standard.
We are looking to raise £2000 to cover our animal food, animal bedding, veterinary care and keeping the keepers employed. Unfortunatly like all other zoos we are unable to close the business fully and furlough the staff.
Our runnings costs are usually covered by our school visits, junior keeper experiences and entrance fee and sadly these have all now stopped. If you have visited us before you will know how much the animals mean to us all and how much we want Cedars Nature Centre to succeed and continue to be part of the community.
If you are able to support us with any ammount at all then please donate here.
If we reach our goal we will be giving away a Joint Junior Keeper Experience for 2 children aged 6 years + or a VIP Tour for up to 4 adults. Please ensure you leave your name next to your donation as we will be randomly selecting a winner.
If you wish to support us by other means we are very happy to receive any donations of fruit, vegetables and kitchen towel. You can do this by emailing us on info@cedarsnaturecentre.co.uk
We really appreciate all the support and donations that you have given us and we hope to see you all on the other side.
Take care and stay safe,
Team Cedars🐾
