Story
My sister Celina and her husband Martim have a little girl Elena who is 2 and a half years old. After her birth, Celina found out that she had triple negative breast cancer, one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer.
She then had chemotherapy, tumour removal, and radiotherapy. The outcome was very positive.
End of March 2018, Celina found herself pregnant but not without any problems... First Celina and Martim were very surprised to find out she was pregnant with triplets!
But a few weeks later she had a pulmonary emboliom and 2 months later a medical check up informed her that her breast cancer had unfortunately come back. She had to have an urgent masectomy end of june, at her 19th week of pregnancy.
Today in her 5 months of pregnancy the oncologist has decided to start her chemotherapy treatment early August. Celina will have to carry on with that treatment at higher doses after the birth of the triplets.
Taking care of infant triplets is already an adventure but facing in the meantime the effects of chemotherapy will be a hard time for Celina and Martim. They will need to have a nanny to help them taking care of the triplets and their sister Elena during this difficult period. Living near London with no relatives in England, Celina and Martim enquired to get help with triplets knowing that in England the state doesn't provide any help whatsoever. The cost of a nanny either during day time or at night is high, 20 pounds an hour.
That is the reason why i am turning to you to ask for some financial help for childcare, baby equipment and so on.
Any contribution would be greatly welcome!
Many thanks !
