Story
After over 14hours of endurance racing, Mirjam (Allik) became the female winner of the 2018 Celtman extreme Scottish triathlon. The race involved a 3.4km open water swim in a very cold Loch Shieldaig, a 200km bike ride around the stunning West Highlands, and a final 42km Marathon up and over some of the toughest mountains in Torridon.
Unfortunately, in the heat of the race along some very wet and bumpy Scottish roads, Mirjam's bike computer came flying off, bounced along the tarmac and was lost forever somewhere in the undergrowth along the A835 by Loch Glascarnoch.
Any athlete who trains hard for these types of events, knows the importance of their on bike computer. Most of us have experienced that horrible feeling when we've lost our ride data. But to loose your on bike GPS, especially when you've trained so hard and just given the race of your life is a real loss.
So we're just trying to show a bit of support by raising a little bit of money to help Mirjam purchase a new one. Please help by using this justgiving page to show your support.
