I've raised £500 to The Centenary Wing, Kettering General Hospital

As many of you know, my Dad has been receiving life saving treatment for 15 years for several complex and challenging conditions. Without the care, treatment and support of the Centenary Wing, we would not be lucky enough to have him with us today, about to celebrate his Ruby Wedding anniversary, and the birth of his 4th grandchild.
On the 4th August this year, I will endeavour to cycle 100 miles in the Ride London charity event. It takes in the tallest peaks in the South, and is a challenge that keeps me awake at night!
Our hope is to raise enough money to make a contribution for a VeinViewer Flex machine for the wing to use with its patients. It helps staff to see the position of veins that aren’t visible to the naked eye. This will then enable them to cannulate the patients with particularly small, deep and difficult veins, reducing the attempts made to get a cannula in, and hopefully improve the experience for the patients.
Please extend our thanks and best wishes to your son in all his efforts, we are so very lucky as a unit to have such great support from patients, their families and friends.
