I am going on a month long trip between July and August 2017 to Tanzania with an organisation called Camps International to take part in volunteering activities such as building schools and other local facilities, whilst also taking part in other activities including learning to scuba dive and visiting safaris. I will be helping the local community in Tanzania as myself and our group help hands on to improve the facilities available to them, and hence improve the standard of living in the area. As the trip is quite costly, I am fundraising the money so I am able to visit and take part in the amazing opportunities there. One of the events I have taken part in to raise that money is the Sheffield 10k run which I completed on the 30th of October. My next goal is to complete the Three Peaks Challenge where I will be climbing three mountains in the Yorkshire dales in under 24 hours.
