Story
Event organiser, Cerys Thompson, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma) in 2020, at the age of 29. After two types of chemotherapy failed to work, Cerys was thrown a life-line with new CAR-T therapy in 2021 which led to full remission.
Cerys is hosting a Black Tie Dinner and Dance to mark a year since receiving the treatment that saved her life, with the aim to increase awareness of blood cancers and raise money for the two charities that made a difference to her personally.
