Story

Hi, I have been amazingly lucky and have been selected to represent my Scout/Young Leaders section at the 24th World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia in July 2019. I am 1 of 6 young adults from the Petworth and Pulborough District so it is a real opportunity not to be missed. It will be held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, West Virginia. It runs for 2 weeks and is hosted by USA, Canada and Mexico with over 40,000 participants from all over the world. If you want to read more about it (or inspire any young scouts for the 25th Jamboree) then www.2019wsj.org will give you information overload.
Now as we all know 'Nothing in Life is Free' and I have to fundraise £3500 to allow me to attend. You may think that is a lot for a 15yr old to have to raise, however, as participants from developed countries we pay a higher fee to aid the participants from developing countries to attend and not miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime. I think that is amazing and that is why fundraising is so important!!
If you want to know more or make a donation at anytime then feel free. Thank you.
