Story
Francesca is running the 'Junior Great North Run' on behalf of one of her very special friends Milly.
Francesca and Milly have an incredible friendship knowing each other forever!! As their Mam's have been best friends for over 25years. Francesca and Milly are truly amazing, happy, bubbly little girls but both have their own struggles to deal with.
Francesca requested to do the race in honour of Milly. Milly suffers from Juvenile Arthritis and has done from a very early age, this has affected Milly's mobility, having undergone many operations, Milly fights a very very strong battle. She amazes everyone who knows her and never gives up. We are truly honoured to be a part of Milly's life and watch her overcome all the hurdles she faces. Words can't even describe how brave, determined and amazing Milly is. Francesca and Milly enjoy spending time together, playing in the park or playing games that every other 9 years do. They just adapt and go at there own pace.
We are raising much needed funds to raise both awareness and help towards the development of much needed support and resources that NRAS (National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society) offer.
