I'm raising £10000 to support communities affected by the cyclone in Sri Lanka on behalf of the Ceylon Artisan Tea Association

Story

A devastating cyclone has struck the heart of Sri Lanka, with the central hill country — home to our artisan tea communities — suffering the worst impact. At Rosyth we have escaped the worst of the impact, but elsewhere many families have lost their homes to floods and mudslides, and the livelihoods behind Sri Lanka’s handcrafted teas are now at risk. As members of the Ceylon Artisan Tea Association, including Rosyth Tea, we are coming together to raise £10,000 to support those affected.

Our immediate priority is providing food, clean water, and temporary shelter. The long-term goal is to help rebuild homes and restore stability and dignity to the communities who have nurtured this treasured industry for generations.

Your support — big or small — will make a direct difference.

Provide meals and essentials | Help secure temporary safe shelter | Contribute towards rebuilding homes lost in the disaster. Please consider donating or sharing this appeal. Together we can help families rebuild their lives and protect the heritage of Ceylon’s artisan tea.

Thank you for standing with them.
