Weʼve raised £6,405 to arrange better support for a group of Afghan refugees who served in a UK anti-drugs unit in Afghanistan before the Taliban takeover.
- Funded on Thursday, 28th December 2023
Don't have time to donate right now?
Several dozen Afghans who worked together in a British -run programme counter-narcotics in Afghanistan between 2002 and 2021 are now dispersed all over the UK often with housing and educational problems and in need of jobs. With this money we plan to provide support on housing, education, employment and mental health. If we raise less than the £7000 we shall ensure that the money is channeled through existing Afghan charities in the UK.

About the fundraiser
I am a former British government official who has been associated with Afghanistan since 1993. I am now a Visiting Professor at King's College London. I am keen to help the Afghan immigrants who served on counter-narcotics work in support of UK from 2002 to 2021.
