As reported by the BBC, a group of mindless vandals have destroyed a new articial Cricket pitch at Chaddesden Park Cricket Club in Derby that was laid to mark the Womens Cricket World Cup last year.

With participation in recreational Cricket already in a decline, the last thing a local Cricket club needs is to loose the very thing they need to play Cricket and not just any Cricket, junior Cricket!

Can we all come together as a Cricket community and give just a small amount each to help Chaddesden buy a new artificial pitch so they can continue to provide facilities for people to play Cricket in the area,
