Weʼve raised £135 to go towards repairing the roof on Chalk Farm Learning Disabilities Centre in Willingdon, East Sussex.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

Chalk Farm LDC is a wonderful chairty that trains adults with learning disabilities in a realistic hotel and garden centre enviroment. The main building (the hotel) was built in the 17th centery and the roof is in need of replacing. There are severe leaks when it rains which is causing problems for their hotel business. Without money coming through the hotel, the students will not recieve the required training they need.

The hotel is also said to be the setting for George Orwells 'Animal Farm'! Which is an added bonus.

As they do not make a profit on business the charity really doesn't have enough money in the pot to fix the roof and any amount donated will really help them.
