I've raised £500 to Help support our Football and Dancing Groups

Down’s syndrome is caused by the presence of an extra copy of chromosome 21. The Downs Syndrome Association (DSA) has launched this initiative based on the Number 21 and have challenged everyone to come up with an idea which includes this number.
We want to use this to raise awareness of Downs Syndrome whilst raising money for our football team and our dance group. Both of these have been organized especially for us and we really enjoy them.
So many people have either made a donation or have raised money themselves so that we can continue to do the things we love, and we are very, very grateful.
We thought it right that we do our bit by walking a mile every day for 21 days as part of #Challenge21 and would hope you would sponsor us for doing this. One mile might not seem a lot to some people, but not all of us find this easy, so it will be challenging. We will start on 1st October 2018 and finish on 21st October 2018.
We're hoping to raise £500 to fund some of our sessions and also buy the equipment we need to make sure that everyone who joins can fully take part. We're also hoping that we can get more people involved. Our football team is only for people who have Downs Syndrome but our dancing is for any disability.
Thank you for reading our story...... We'll post regular updates
