As this year’s Border Ladies County Golf Association Captain, Pam Cessford has committed to take on an exciting challenge.

Starting on the 29th June 2026, along with her good friend and golfing partner, Karen Hume, Pam will be attempting a 360-hole tour of the Borders, playing 20 courses over the period of 7 days.

The reason Pam decided to set herself this challenge, is to raise awareness of ladies’ golf in the Borders, in the hope of attracting more young girls and women into the game.

Any money raised by the challenge will be ploughed back into Border ladies’ golf, with an emphasis on supporting coaching, providing equipment, and encouraging golf related activities, particularly for young girls.
