CHALLENGE NOVEMBER

Chances are if you have landed on this page is because someone you know is doing a daft challenge. But here's why ?

There are sadly 192,336 children in Greater Manchester who are living in poverty and who will wake up without a present on Christmas morning this year.

What's your best memory of Christmas morning? Seeing Father Christmas' half-eaten mince pie, and Rudolph's leftover carrot? Dragging your parents downstairs to unwrap what seemed like a mountain of shiny, colourfully wrapped presents? Or spending hours playing with new toys alongside your family, while all is merry and bright around you?

It's the type of Christmas every child should have, but seems hopelessly out of reach for one in three kids in Manchester whose families can't afford a hot meal in the evening, or to switch the heating on as the weather outside turns frightful.

There are 1 in 4 children who are living in poverty and we would like to ensure that Santa has enough presents to distribute on Christmas eve so that everyone wakes up to a surprise gift on Christmas morning.

For these families Christmas is a luxury they can't afford. These children will wake to very little on Christmas day.

So here at JS Health & Fitness have decided to put our bodies through hell with "Challenge November" to raise £10,000 to help these children and also children with terminal illnesses whom Christmas could be their last.

We will be taking on weekly challenges, as a group, individuals, couples and you can join us.

So lets get behind everyone and help the children of Manchester enjoy Christmas.
