    Story

In 2016 I suffered 3 strokes followed by a forth stroke at some point between the scans in Dec.2016 and August 2017.

These strokes had a major impact on my life and more can be read in my story here that I shared via different strokes charity https://differentstrokes.co.uk/stories/jo-c-cross/

Since then I use my rehab to try and raise awareness and funds for people that helped me from rehab hospital.to charities that supported me.

CHANCES was something I set up.i love my music and festivals and it was something I missed greatly so we decided to do a mini festival.theme fundraiser locally in 2018 and 2019 and both went well. We now want to continue and go bigger next year but need to fundraise to cover the costs so we can make as much money as possible for these causes.

You can follow chances festival online Facebook and Instagram to view the pilot and 2019 CHANCES photos and how it went.

We hope to see you in 2020

Every year we start at 0 so it is a big task ahead and we put lots of little mini nights out raffles etc to cover the costs of the CHANCES event. We always try seek sponsors but it's hard so we do fun things to involve people and our local communities so they get something fun to remember while helping us with the big task.in hand

We thought for jo as she cant read or write it would be easier to change date and continue this page for 2020 however this appears to have caused confusion so we have set a new page for fundraising to put on CHANCES 2020 here is the link https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/chances3 .
