I've raised £600 to contribute to education and schooling of children and teenagers living under illegal military occupation.

It's that time of year again!
Join us on Sunday 5th May 2019 for this years Walk the Tyne for Palestine!
The sponsored walk will start at 11am at The Keelman Pub, Newburn, Grange Road, NE15 8ND.
This years WTTFP will be raising money for The Bil'lin Education Fund.
Bil'lin is a Palestinian Village, west of Ramallah, in the illegally occupied West Bank, a village which has a proud history of decade long peaceful demonstrations against the brutal theft of palestinian land by the Isreali government and European settlers.
For over 10 years, and against international law, Israel have continued to suffocate this defenceless village by the construction of an apartheid wall, in an attempt to annex further palestinian land for a a nearby Israeli colony.
For over 10 years the village of Bil'lin has been subject to a brutal occupation by Israeli forces, resulting in the Palestinian residents of Bil'lin being tear gassed, brutally arrested , shot at with internationally banned weapons and murdered for merely peacefully protesting at the theft of their land.
If you have seen the film '5 broken cameras' or visited Bil'lin you will know the struggle of the young people, and their will to live in peace and freedom.
This year's Walk the Tyne for Palestine will raise money for the Bil'lin Education Fund for the tuition fees of poor college students from the village. Everyday in this village , children are at risk of weekly raids, being tear gassed, shot at and arrested.
Please donate what you can to this important cause. The Israeli goverments illegal incarceration of Palestinian children, demolishing of schools and villages to make way for Jewish only colonies and Israel's targeting of Palestinian educational establishments as a way to restrict Palestinians from being schooled , means this initiative is as important as ever, and please remember, every pound counts.
