Story

Hi friends and family,

When I was little I used to draw peoples houses and post them through their letter box. As I got older I went on study drawing at Camberwell University, and my final major project was a map of the local area, then when I graduated I found a career in designing spaces.

Whilst all of those things have been amazing, I've realised (all be it a little later than most) where my real future lies. I have regretted not pursuing a career in Architecture for my entire working life. I always assumed it was too late to study again and start at the beginning.

I can't tell you exactly when my mind changed, but this summer I applied for University and two weeks later found myself sitting in class learning about Greek Temples, sustainable practice and technical drawing. I'm absolutely loving it, and I could not be any more of a nerd in school.

However, I've hit my first hurdle. Unfortunately I've just found out that Student Finance will not fund my tuition fees for the first year. I've now got very little time to find the money for my first term. I am going to dedicate my entire maintenance loan towards the last term, and work along side university to pay for my second term but I really need a bit of help!

What I'm asking for is this... I turn 30 in 2 months time. If I could ask for anything, it would be to have the opportunity to carry on with my studies. It would be the best gift in the world. I know it's a lot to ask for, but if you would like to help me please donate anything you can. It might be £5 but it will make a difference.
