CFYDC’s NEW 3G PITCH - £400K Target - please donate
Chapeltown Youth Development Centre are fundraising towards a new 3G multi-use pitch to further support sports participation of the current 1800+ young people attending the centre, as well as hosting a wider range of sports to attract further players.
CFYDC has being running for 22 years now and grown from strength to strength currently hosting 1800+ young people on a weekly basis from across Leeds, doing multiple sporting and other activities.
The organisation gained charitable status in 2007 and has continued to deliver positive outcomes to young people and families from across the city. The activities include: Football, Boxing, New Tag Rugby, Music, Educational Football Industry Scholarship Programme, Mentoring and coaching Programme, G.A.N.G Guiding A New Generation Mentoring Programme, Lets Eat Food Bank Provision, Positive Destinations Jobs and Employability Programme, Every Mind Matters Youth Mental Health Programme - RZ World, Coaching opportunities, Volunteer opportunities and much more.
The primary incentives are to support young people making more well-informed choices in life using positive activities as a tool of engagement.
NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP/SUPPORT TO DEVELOP OUR OWN 3G FACILTY. We have been promised in principal 2/3rds of the funding from Football Foundation Sports England. The young people deserve to have a chance to enjoy there activities on a fit for purpose site as this 3G facility would change young people’s belief they can achieve and aspire to more.
Thanks
