I've raised £5000 to to fund desperately needed equipment & support for surgeons who will be volunteering in Cambodia, performing and teaching cataract surgery

In November this year, and on various trips over the coming year, eye surgeons from across a variety of different countries will travel to Cambodia on charitable missions, to perform cataract and other eye surgeries for local people in Cambodia and to deliver teaching and training to local personnel. Many of the local population are blind from untreated mature cataracts and as a result, they are unable to work or care for themselves independently and are reliant on friends and family for support. We are taking time off from our local hospitals to fund ourselves to fly to Cambodia on this important trip. Your generous support will help this and future charitable missions to be possible and will enable people who live with treatable blinding eye conditions to see again.
