Story
Posh Frocks Event
Our senior HR consultant Jenna is currently undergoing gruelling chemotherapy treatment having been diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. Around 360,000 people are told they have cancer in the UK each year, and of those 2,000 are diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma – which affects the lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell found in the lymph nodes.
Because it’s not one of the most common cancers, Jenna is keen to do all she can to raise awareness of the condition — something everyone at Triangle HR supports. We are also keen to raise as much money as possible for the O’Connor Haematology Unit at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, where Jenna is receiving her chemo.
As part of that, I am hosting a Posh Frocks event at my house from 7pm on Friday, March 22nd – entry is £5 and each item of donated evening wear, accessories, shoes and scarves will be £10. Nibbles and drinks will be available and it should be a really fun evening, raising money for a very important cause.
I’d love for you to join us at the event, or to consider donating any items you have relegated to the back of the wardrobe, so they can go to a new home and help us reach our fundraising target.
If you’d like more information about Posh Frocks, or to confirm that you'd like to attend the event, please contact me on 07801 500462, or at justine@trianglehr.co.uk, and I can give you the address.
If you're unable to make it but would like to make a donation, please do so through our Just Giving page.
Thank you in advance, all donations are gratefully received by Triangle, Jenna and all of the patients being treated at the unit.
