Story

I'm currently trying to raise money during my term as young mayor in Salford for the Joshua Lancaster Foundation. This charity was set up by Joshuas parents below is a little information about him and the charity.

He was diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma, a form of rare liver cancer. A disease that isn’t usually found until adolescence, not only was it in his Liver, but it had also spread to both kidneys. This has never been seen before, there are no cases or reports every been logged in the world of this condition. 4 weeks later on the morning of 18th November their beautiful boy took his very last breath in his mummy and daddy’s arms whilst they sung lullaby’s and told him how much they loved him. He gained his Angel wings leaving behind a hole in their hearts that will never be filled. They are absolutely heartbroken, they have no answers to their questions, all we know is some good has to come out of this horrible outcome. “The Joshua Lancaster Foundation” will be initially aimed to help patients with cancer and terminal illness and also the families of those affected. Their initial areas to help will be the Panda Unit at Hope Hospital, Ward 84 at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital & St Francis House Hospice.
