Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Charlotte Taylor and Jemimah Gilpin are raising money to travel to Durban, South Africa in Easter 2017!
We will be visiting a village for orphaned children to bless and be blessed by them. We are both really excited to proclaim God's kingdom in our words and actions. We want to be part of raising a generation that will change South Africa in the name of Jesus, and serving those who need it most.
We will be working with the Soul Survivor team in a place called LIV village. LIV was built as a home for vulnerable children who are orphaned by HIV and AIDS, giving them education, healthcare, safety and a family environment where they are unconditionally loved, discipled, cared for and nurtured. LIV's values have made an incredible impact in Durban and are spreading across the country. Hundreds of children have had their lives transformed and are living life with Jesus.
We are going to join in the mission! We will be teaching in schools, helping build new facilities, serving those who need it most, spending time with God, and being transformed.
The money we raise will be spent on flights (£900 each), accommodation and transport (£650 each), visas and vaccines (£100 each) and money for food while we are there (£100 each). This is a lot of money to raise, so anything you can give is welcomed. Thank you for being part of our journey!
