Nearly five years ago, my son died in the Northern Territory of Cyprus under circumstances that remain deeply concerning and unresolved. Since that day, our family has been searching for answers about what really happened.

Despite repeated requests, we have still not received any official reports or clear explanations surrounding his death. Over the years, both the UK government and UK police have made efforts to assist and have reached out to the authorities in Northern Cyprus on our behalf. However, we have been informed that the authorities there will only engage with the case if we appoint a local lawyer within Northern Cyprus.

Unfortunately, legal representation abroad comes with significant costs, and the UK government is unable to fund this process. Without a lawyer acting locally, we are unable to access critical information, official documents, or pursue the legal steps needed to uncover the truth.

As a parent, living with unanswered questions about the loss of a child is incredibly painful. All I want is transparency, accountability, and the chance to understand what happened to my son.

This fundraiser has been created to raise the funds needed to appoint a qualified lawyer in Northern Cyprus who can formally request documents, communicate with the authorities, and help us pursue the truth that we have been waiting nearly five years to hear.
