Story

We are a brand new, as yet, unregistered charity - Archie's Warriors!

Our son, Archie, passed away on 6 June 2024 after a 6 month hospital admission. Archie's life was short, but he made a huge impact in those 11 years and we know he'd want us to carry on his legacy and make life a little more comfortable for kids like him.

Our mission is to create 'Memories for Life' for children in long-term hospital care, in Dorset and Hampshire. We understand the emotional toll that extended hospital stays can have on young patients. Being away from home, family, and friends, during such a vulnerable time, can deeply affect their mental well-being. While hospitals do their best to offer small comforts, we believe every child deserves more than just a distraction, they deserve a moment of joy that becomes a cherished memory.

That’s where we come in. Archie’s Warriors is dedicated to bringing memorable experiences to these brave children, offering them hope, happiness, and a lasting reminder that they are never alone.

Whether it’s a personalised video or voicemail message from someone they admire, or a special event brought right to their hospital ward, we aim to create a Memory for Life; something uplifting, inspiring, and unforgettable.

We believe every child deserves a moment of magic — especially in their darkest times. We will never charge for the care, support, or joy we provide. But to keep that promise, we depend on the compassion of people like you.

Your donation, no matter the amount, helps us reach children when they need it most. It’s not just a gift. It’s a lifeline. A spark of hope. A reminder that they’re not alone.

Help us keep the magic alive.
