    Story

On an ordinary night in March 2017 my father Charles Kerr was taken ill with a stroke that left him with a bleed on the brain and 4 bouts of pneumonia right after. He spent weeks recovering and falling ill again in hospital to the point we were told he wouldn't make it through another night..None the less he proved us all wrong and fully recovered and came home! He was a real fighter!

With help from the stroke society we were able to help our Dad settle back into daily life as best as we could,he was no longer able to eat by himself or walk but with the help provided we where able to provide him comfort and more time with loved ones. This was the greatest gift we could have had in the 12 months we had left with him.

Stroke needs more attention in the UK and we need your help.Holding my fathers hands in which he once held me up high in his arms is an unexplainable heartache that i never wish upon anyone. It can turn the strongest of fighters to being almost helpless.
