Signpost provides counselling, coaching and other support to help young people living in South and West Hertfordshire overcome problems in their lives. In 2017 Signpost helped over 500 people.

In 2017 I went through a very difficult time personally due to mental health issues. Anxiety and depression found their way in to my life and for a while took control. It was hard at times to see the light through the trees and I was unsure of what to do. However, thanks to signpost, I received counselling and support and my life completely changed. With mental health awareness becoming more prominent in recent years, charities such as Signpost are vital to the care and support of young people with mental health issues.

Unfortunately, Signpost is receiving a lack of funding and is in threat of being closed down. In response to this I will be completing a personal run/walk as a fundraiser.
