Weʼve raised £250 to Help fund my Island games journey to Gotland where I will compete in High jump as the youngest Island athlete.

Funded on Wednesday, 5th July 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

The Island Games are an international multi-sports event organised by the International Island Games Association. The most recent games were the 2015 Island Games held in Jersey, with around 3000 competitors from 24 competing islands or island groups competing in 14 sports.

I have spent many years trying to achieve the Island games qualifying standard in high jump after watching it on the Island in 2011, last year I achieved just that and since hearing I had been selected to join the team in Gotland I have been incrediably excited, proud and determined to train harder than ever. I am the youngest on the athletics team and I am still in full time education. It is difficult to fundraise has whilst studying, but I am nearly there.
