Story

Over December last year, I sent the month growing a beard for the first time (sounds weird). As I've decided to keep the beard, I've come up with another way to try and raise money. For every £300 that is raised, I'm going have a body part waxed... Starting with legs, up to back, then hopefully (or hopefully not depending on how the first part goes) crack and... Maybe sack. I feel I'm going to regret this.

There were 6,639 suicides in the UK and Republic of Ireland. 6,188 suicides were registered in the UK and 451 in the Republic of Ireland. Throughout England only in 2017, 10.1 people per 100,000 took their own lives. I have had two old friends die through suicide this year and it's only July. My main aim from this is to show not only my friends, but everybody, that there is always someone willing to listen and help. You don't have to suffer in silence.

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. They operate HOPELineUK - 0800 068 41 41 a freephone national confidential line staffed by trained professionals providing practical advice, support and information to anyone concerned that someone they know is feeling suicidal.

This is money is raised in dedication to the memory of Hamish Cameron, Lisa Stone, Elliot Strickland and Dave Gent. Rest in Peace x
