Story
In February 2024, my cousin Landon Crossley was tragically killed in a car accident along with his best pal, Jordan Dwyer. They were both 26 years old at the time of the crash.
During his many trips to the UK, Landon's favourite places to visit were Abersoch in North Wales and the home of his beloved football team Manchester City, The Etihad Stadium.
At the beginning of May, I plan to cover the 120 miles (193kms) between the two locations, the equivalent of 4.5 marathons, on foot along with 5 of my closest friends over the course of 3 days.
We are doing this challenge to honour their lives and to help make a difference to causes close to their hearts.
Since the tragedy, the family have set up a foundation that supports some amazing causes around the world. They have already contributed new homes to injured army veterans and plan to do many more amazing things in 2025. We will be using the funds raised from this challenge to help underprivileged areas of Manchester, as well as making donations to charities who support people fighting life threatening illness.
Please contribute in anyway you can as every pound and penny would be hugely appreciated and will help make a massive difference to those who need it most.
Many thanks,
Charlie, Alex, Connor, Dave, Tom & Tim
