Christopher Hurley

Celebrating the life of a true pioneer!!

In aid of the Chris Hurley Memorial Fund

The family and friends of the late Chris Hurley were devastated when Chris lost his brave battle with cancer in February 2019.

They lost a son, a father, a brother, an uncle and a friend. The Northern Ireland dance scene lost a true pioneer that heralded the birth of the dance music culture of the early 90s in the north west area and beyond.

A true innovator of the early dance music scene he paved the way for a whole new generation of clubbers and djs alike, while bringing clubbers together at a troubled time in Northern Ireland’s history

Chris’ music was was at the forefront of a life changing movement, a movement that helped break down religious and sectarian barriers and brought young people together as one

This will be one of the biggest events of the year and it is all aimed at raising much needed funds for the nurses who cared so selflessly for Chris through his illness.

But during these unpreecdented times where clubs and venues are closed, it‘s a safer way to stream this live event to your homes. So we are inviting you to one helluva celebration at the Hurley’s House Party and we are asking you to donate what you can for this great and worthwhile cause.

Please join us on Saturday the 29th august 2020 from 2 pm till late.

To remember that legend and godfather of Northern Iteland house: the one and the only Chris Hurley!!
