After 12 years of trying to reunite with my step dad my dream finally came true. I met the man who brought me into this world but was only shocked to hear of his past and sadness.
My step dad over the years was a man who had a lot of love and passion for people he knew of there wasn't somthing you could do, he would do it despite what was going on in his head. My step dad suffered from long term depression and he had tried many suicide attempts when he was on his own. The day I feared would come believe me it came and it hit me in the heart like a rock. To find out my dad had overdosed in his apartment killed me and when the doctors said they were to late.
My family tried everything we could to afford his funeral believe me we did, but we did not have the funding from our backgrounds so this was near enough impossible, he was cremated and his ashes were given to me.
I have come here today for the support of the lovely heart filled people you are to ask for help. My step dad was a huge fan of the USA he loved his music and I have always wanted to make a memorial for him but I have never been able to afford it. It would be so kind if anyone could donate anything it really would to help my fund his memorial and those who donate I will share a photo with you once it has been finished. I'm not asking for big amounts of money even 50p of a donation would not bother me but all are welcome.
All I'd like to say is thank you and please help and support me it would mean the world and honour to me it really would to know I have somthing to look at in memory of him.
