What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

My name is Charlie and I am running the Cardiff half marathon on the 6th of October to raise some money for The Barn animal rescue in Newtownards.
The barn where I am a volunteer, is a small local non profit organisation who care for and rehome stray dogs and cats. They rely heavily on public donations. I would love to raise as much money as possible to help them build more outdoor runs and an agility area to exercise the dogs.

We think your offer to run marathon in aid of the barn rescue charity is very commendable.
