Story

I'm running a 50 Mile Ultramarathon in the Peak District and I need your help

I'm running The Peak District Ultras "Limestone 50" ultra marathon on the 31st August and currently halfway through my training.

I'm a musician and keen ultra runner from Derby and have been running for around 5 years, having completed multiple official marathons and two 32 mile ultra marathons by myself in this time.

I would love to raise any money I can for 2 charities in Derbyshire that are close to me.

The first is Safe and Sound Group who work with young people, to help end Child Exploitation: Find their website here

SAFE AND SOUND’S VISION IS TO ALWAYS BE THERE WHEN YOUNG PEOPLE NEED US AND TO PREVENT EXPLOITATION WHEREVER AND HOWEVER, WE CAN.

The second is Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health who help individuals living with or recovering from mental ill health across Derbyshire: Find their website here

OUR DEDICATION IS TO EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS WITH THE TOOLS AND SUPPORT THEY NEED TO THRIVE INDEPENDENTLY AND LIVE FULFILLING LIVES.

I have lived with anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder since I was around 16, so helping young people who are currently in the position I was in, means a lot to me.

I am documenting my training and the actual event (a lot of the videos will be finished after I've completed it, as the actual running of is taking a lot of my time 😉). Here is one of the videos in my YouTube mini-series:

Please do donate where and how you can. Thank you.
