Story
My lovely friend Sally Drillot is running the other half to complete the full marathon as a relay team! I work for the school on Sark and have been in the channel islands for nearly 8yrs now, I want to help make a difference however small it may be! The school itself always needs new resources and equipment so I want to contribute anything I raise to help enrich the children's education. I will be splitting any money I raise with the school and a charity called 'Action for Children'
We protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. We ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives.
This is a wonderful non profit charity and could do with all the help it can get! Our children and young people are so important, the work these people do is outstanding and should be applauded. So please help . . . however small.
I will be running my first EVER half marathon in Guernsey on the 3rd of April to raise this money . . .
