You hear about cancer on the TV and social media but you never expect it to happen to someone close to you, especially at our age. It all happened so quickly, one minute Barney (15) is this lively, energetic person then next going through chemotherapy and treatment to save his life from a rare form of liver cancer.

Barney loves his rugby and football, most of his week is dedicated to sports. Is always messing and joking around and laughs at almost anything, and always up for a laugh...

We really want to do something to help, so we decided that we are going to do a sponsored 10 mile walk on Saturday 30th July 2022 in Cornwall from Harlyn Bay to Bedruthan Steps with the help of our football team, St Cleer & Liskeard JFC under 15's.

Any money we raise will be shared equally between the 2 charities who have both been brilliant support for Barney and his family.
