I've raised £2250 to help me pay for a once in a lifetime trip to Morocco.

By donating to my cause, you are helping me fund a once in a lifetime trip to Morocco. On the first day of my trip, we will be departing England and we’ll be on the way to sunny Morocco. Once we arrive there, we’ll be in Marrakech and we’ll get a glimpse of the culture which will be surrounding us for two weeks. On day two, the team will be travelling to our project which is yet to be decided, however will include helping people in villages and learning all about their everyday life and struggles. On the third, fourth and fifth days, the team will take part in the project phase of the trip. The project will include immersing into the local community and getting insight on what the new foreign culture is like. We’ll be able to see the daily routine, activities and cultural sensitivities and how different they are to the normal life we live. We‘ll also be able to give the community a taste of what home is like for us and share what it’s like back in England. The team will also be contributing to the community by helping with physical labour, exchanging skills between the two cultures and spending time with the children. Our help will be massively appreciated by the locals and will be extremely grateful. On days six, seven, eight, nine and ten, we will be travelling to and going on a trek. There are many different types to choose from; these include going around rocky hills, taking the scenic routes or for more challenging treks, the snow capped mountains. On days eleven and twelve, the team will be travelling to Essaouria and having some chill time and rest. We’ll go for some relaxing sight seeing and learn about some of the historic land marks. There will also be activities there which will be paid for out of personal funds and there will be lots of different workshops and cultural activities to take part in. On day thirteen, the team will be returning to Marrakech and there will be two options for this day. We can take a relaxing option of looking around the markets of Marrakech filled with delicacies, souvenirs, and foreign types of clothing. The other option is to take an off-road cycling tour around Marrakech’s palm grove. We will pass tiny villages, ruins of past civilisations and many different animals! Finally, on day 14, we will be sadly leaving Morocco to come back to England and tell family and friends about the amazing experience we just had.
By donating to this trip, you will be helping both me and the people of Morocco. This will be an amazing experience for me and the foreign community and will be an excellent thing to put on my CV. Thank you for reading and hopefully donating!
