Old Pats player breaks leg in league game! We would like to help him pay his bills while he can't work

On Saturday 2nd September Charlie Maker led the team out as Captain in the first Old Pats League game of the season away to Gordon League. Charlie is in his 3rd season of Senior Rugby and has established himself as one of the first names on the team sheet and represented Gloucestershire under 20's last season.

Sadly he suffered a double lower leg fracture in a freak rugby incident and we would like to do our bit to help him keep up his bills while he is unable to work!

Charlie is 2 years into an Apprenticeship and his role requires him to be able to climb Communication Masts which with a full leg plaster on his right leg won't be possible for a number of months.

His mates in the squad asked if we could set up a fund so they can contribute towards his costs - they want to look after their own! Maybe some of our supporters would like to help and hence we have set up this page. Every penny would I am sure be appreciated - can you help us look after Charlie?
