Story

On December 5th 2018 my sister Danielle and her partner Sam had their hearts well and truly shattered when they learnt their little Charlie bear no longer had a heartbeat. After not feeling him move for most of the day Danielle and Sam decided it best to go and get checked out only to be told that their worst nightmare had came true. Charlie was due to be born by caesarean section on 27th December 2018. They were 22days away but Charlie obviously had other plans. He was just too special for this world.

Danielle, with Sam by her side every step of the way brought Charlie into the world on 9th December 2018 at 4:11pm weighing 8lb 9oz. He was as perfect as everyone had imagined. He was loved by so many before he even arrived and even more so when we got to see his chubby little cheeks and his tiny hands and feet.

He was born at the Queen Elizabeth hospital and we cant thank the staff enough for all of their support. They were amazing throughout and we would like to raise as much money as possible to allow them to buy a cuddle cot which allows parents of stillborns longer with their babies. They cost over £1500 to buy. We would love to donate one in memory of Charlie or help them with the family room to allow families a place to spend some quality time with their babies or to purchase memory boxes for other families in this heartbreaking situation.

We have already raised £1,176.70 so not far to go.

Thanks in advance
