Hi, my name is Charlie, and I was initially raising funds to help cover the cost of my cancer treatment. However, at this moment in time, I’ve exhausted all lines of treatment and there are no longer anymore treatment options for me. It is a case of keeping me comfortable until the time comes and I pass away. It’s getting harder each day. Funds will be saved in case further treatment options become available.

Funds that have been donated will now go towards helping my wife and 4year old daughter with the expenses that follow. We’ll be keeping the funds aside up until I pass in case other treatment options become available. We still fight on. Thank you so much for generosity.

A bit of a background:

In November 2023 at the age of 38, my life changed when I was initially diagnosed with terminal Pancreatic cancer. I was later re-diagnosed with terminal Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer. This was 3 weeks after my Father passed away from kidney cancer. Since then, I’ve undergone chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and multiple targeted therapies including a trial. It has been an exhausting and emotionally challenging journey. It’s been a rollercoaster but one I’ve been grateful for. I can’t believe I’m still here.

At the time of diagnosis, I only had six weeks to live. Although at the time I knew I didn’t have long, I didn’t want to give up. The fight continues every day.

There could be an option in America for further treatment but my professor needs to speak to a Doctor there.
