Story

With the Thomas Hardye School and CAMPS International, I am going on a trip to Costa Rica and Nicaragua in the summer 2019 to help the local people in rural areas who are often living in extreme poverty and have poor access
to sanitation and water, and helping to protect the environment by promoting to communities how important it is to care for and look after their surroundings. To do this I will be doing voluntary work on projects such as: creating areas for improved sanitation, providing connections for access to clean water, building schools, houses and other public places, educating the locals on many different areas of life such as how to care for their environment, and much more.
The trip is a lot of money, however I believe that it will so worthwhile and beneficial to everyone involved. So to help raise the money needed, I am taking part in a sponsored walk from Thomas Hardye School to Hardye's Monument and back (around 20km) on the 29th September.
I would be ever so grateful if you would take the time to sponsor me and help me get to Central America next summer to give something to people that are much less fortunate than me.
Thank you for reading and for your kindness,
Charlotte
