This year for my birthday, I have decided i would like to raise funds for my mums funeral. As most of you are aware I sadly unexpectedly lost my mum on Wednesday, at only 39 years old. She was so happy, happiest I have seen her in a long while, in a very happy relationship, trying for another baby, and looking forward to her upcoming holiday, these are just a few examples of many, she was just in a really good place. She always had her ups and downs with her mental health, however she was so genuinely and authentically happy, it is so unfair she was taken when she was truly starting to love living☹️. She has left a massive hole in our hearts and unfortunately leaves behind 2 young children, Arabella who is 1 3/4 and Ebonie who is 14. Due to the suddenness of my mums death, we unfortunately was not prepared financially in anyway shape or form and we want to be able to give my mum the beautiful send off she deserves. We as a family understand that times are hard and wouldn’t want anybody to feel obliged to donate, however if you can spare anything, even as little as £1, every donation counts and we would be greatly appreciative. I have no expectations on how much we can raise, however, if we have enough for the funeral and some money left over, I will be putting every penny of this into an account for baby Arabella when she grows up. Mum loved being a mum and she always did her best by her children, despite not having much herself and battling her own battles, she always did her best and ensured we was all cared for and most importantly felt loved. Unfortunately due to Arabella’s age, it’s unlikely she will hold any memories of my mum, so when she is old enough I would love to be able to give her something from my mum and constantly remind her how much mum loved and adored her. I will do everything in my power to ensure all of her babies know how much she loved being their mum and do whatever it takes to make sure they are taken care of - thankyou, Charlotte.
