I've raised £500 to the Tom Wilson Memorial Fund Charitable Trust by running 26 miles in the Richmond marathon

On Sunday 17th September , I am running the Richmond Marathon (26.2 miles) to help raise money for The Tom Wilson Memorial Fund Charitable Trust.
As some of you will already be aware, Tom was a close friend of mine through both school and hockey. Sadly, Tom suffered a blow to the neck during a training session and despite the very best efforts from his teammates and the emergency services, Tom tragically lost his life the following day surrounded by his family.
What came to light after the event was that, Tom had signed up to the Organ Donor Register whilst at University. Tom's organs were donated and helped save and improve the lives of over 20 people.
The Tom Wilson Memorial Fund Charitable Trust has been formed by Lisa, Tom's mum and sister Pippa, to help raise awareness of organ and tissue donation and advancing sporting related concussion and head trauma research.
I hope to raise as much awareness and encourage as many people as possible to sign up to the Organ Donor Register. Register by clicking here.
Any sponsorship you could provide would mean a lot to me, but more importantly to the Wilson family.
