Story
As many of you know, sadly a group of individuals made the decision to destroy our local communities well loved children's play area.
We are now hoping to raise some money to help the park recreate this playframe and install some CCTV in hope that this will deter the offender from attempting this again.
I've been liaising with SL and RFT who are so impressed with our local communities generosity. Once we have raised as much as we can, I'll be transferring the money to a trust bank account to be used for reconstruction.

2 years agoAnother update from the lovely Liz at Stanwick Lakes. They are still struggling to get set up on Just Giving so are happy to continue support mine, Jodie's and Joseph's efforts. We chatted about potential use of the raised fund and discussed the possibility of using it to pay for temporary play equipment and to cover potential loss of income while they sort insurance. We will keep working hard for this amazing team. Thank you all so much for all your contributions - it's amazing! ❤️

2 years agoHi everyone, I've just got off the phone with stanwick lakes. They send out their heartfelt thanks for everyone's show of generosity! ❤️ The SL team are working on getting a just giving charity registration so I imagine they will have their own page over the next couple of days. Until then, we will continue to raise money on their behalf and pay over to their trust account. Once again, thank you so much!
