In June 2023 alongside 23 colleagues, I will be embarking on one of the most physically tough challenges I have ever done... climbing 3 peaks in 3 days! Over these 3 days, I will hike to the summit of 3 mountains in 3 different countries (France, Switzerland and Italy).

I have never done anything like this before, but anyone who knows me knows that I am always pushing myself and if I can help other people in some way I will try. To say I'm scared is an understatement but I am determined to push myself and take on this challenge for an important cause, helping raise money for the victims of the February 2023 earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

The earthquake in Southern Turkey and Northern Syria claimed the lives of over 49,000 people and flattened areas of cities and sent the region, which was already grappling with a refugee crisis and over a decade of war, into a monumental recovery effort. The United Nations said that as many as 5.3 million people may have lost their homes. The disaster has left millions of people in urgent need of basic necessities like shelter, food, clean water, and sanitation.

My employer has facilitated this trip and as a business we aim to raise over $40,000 for charity over the year. All donations from this Just Giving page will be going directly to helping the Turkey and Syria Earthquake relief.
